Off-site seminar

Since the 2021–2022 academic year, the Passerelle Association has organised an off-site seminar lasting approximately three days at the end of each year with the PhD students of Lab’Urba. This seminar serves as a meeting opportunity, bringing together students outside the usual academic setting and providing a space to experiment with new collaborative working methods.

Various scientific and social activities are organised in connection with the theme chosen for the seminar.

  • The first edition was held in Bruay-la-Buissière from December 1 to 3, 2021, and focused on the topic of former mining towns and flood risk.
  • The second edition took place in Rouen from December 5 to 7, 2022, addressing the issue of industrial risk
  • The third edition was held in Lille and Roubaix from December 11 to 13, 2023, addressing social and environmental emergencies.
  • The fourth edition was hosted in Dieppe from November 25 to 27, 2024, and was dedicated to “Narratives and Practices of Reindustrialisation in Dieppe.”
